Chitwan

If you want to explore the wildlife of Nepal the best opportunity offers the Chitwan National Park in the tropical South of the country.
The Park is one of the best national parks in Asia and covers an area of 932 sq. km. It is listed as World Heritage Site since 1984. It is home for species like: Bengal tigers, one-horned rhinoceros, leopards, gaurs, variety of monkeys, deers, crocodiles, beautiful butterflies and colorful birds.

There are many ways to experience the jungle: in a jeep, by foot, or…. on the back of an elephant. The last one is considered as the best and most exciting one.

Your visit to Nepal will be incomplete without seeing the beautiful fauna and flora of Chitwan National Park so let me take you on that wonderful trip, which is entirely different to the experience you will have trekking in the mountains.
The tour presented here starts from Pokhara or Kathmandu.
