      Located on a hilltop overlooking the city, Sarangkot offers stunning views of the Annapurna range and the Phewa Lake, and is the perfect spot to witness the sunrise over the Himalayas.


      The trip to Sarangkot begins early in the morning, with a drive from Pokhara to the base of the hill. From there, hikers can make the short but steep ascent to the summit of Sarangkot, which takes about 45 minutes to an hour. The trail offers beautiful views of the city and the lake, as well as the surrounding mountains.


      Once at the summit, you can enjoy the stunning views of the Annapurna range, including Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre. The sunrise over the peaks is truly a sight to behold, and many visitors consider it the highlight of the trip. After spending some time at the summit,  you can descend to the base of the hill and return to Pokhara.

      The spring season sees warmer temperatures, averaging 20°C (68°F) during the day and 10°C (50°F) at night, accompanied by occasional rainfall due to the monsoon season. 


      During the monsoon season (June-September), the city experiences heavy rainfall and elevated humidity, with temperatures averaging 25°C (77°F) during the day and 20°C (68°F) at night. 


      In autumn, the weather cools down and dries out, making it a favorable time to visit the city. 


      Despite the unpredictable weather, Pokhara continues to be a charming destination that is worth exploring.
