    • Trek Description

The trek takes you around the Annapurna massif, offering stunning views of some of the highest peaks in the world, including Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).

The trek passes traditional villages, lush forests, and high-altitude passes. The Annapurna Circuit trek is considered a moderate to strenuous trek, and it is recommended for trekkers with some experience. The best time to trek is from September to November and from March to May when the weather is relatively stable and clear. It is one of the routes that is also recommended in the monsoon season because the rain is less than in other areas in Nepal.

Overall, the Annapurna Circuit trek is a must-do trek for those who want to experience the natural and cultural beauty of Nepal while also challenging themselves physically. It's a great way to see the Himalayas, the diverse landscapes, and the local culture of Nepal.

    • Trekking Seasons

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is most popular during the trekking season, which occurs between September to November and March to May, when temperatures are generally mild. During these months, daytime temperatures can reach 15 to 25°C (59 to 77°F) at lower elevations, but can drop to below freezing at night. At higher elevations, temperatures can drop to below -10°C (14°F).

In contrast, the monsoon season, between June to August, is characterized by wet weather and muddy, slippery trails. Lower elevations during this time can have temperatures ranging from 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F), while higher elevations can drop below freezing at night.

The winter months, from December to February, are the coldest and least popular time to trek the Annapurna Circuit. Nighttime temperatures during these months can drop to as low as -20°C (-4°F) or lower, and snow and ice can make the trail difficult to navigate. The trail may also be closed or have limited access due to snow and ice, and the risk of avalanches and landslides is higher.

It's crucial to come prepared for quick and unexpected weather changes on the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Warm layers, a waterproof jacket, and trekking boots are must-haves, along with a hat, gloves, and sunglasses to protect from sun and wind.
